I’m a Functional Nutrition and Hormone Coach and graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I primarily specialize in helping women with thyroid and autoimmune diseases get to the root of their health concerns naturally.

I’m the former Wellness Coach for the renowned Amy Myers, M.D., author of The Thyroid Connection and The Autoimmune Solution. Dr. Myers trained me in functional medicine approaches to not only thyroid and autoimmune diseases, but also adrenal health, leaky gut/intestinal permeability, candida/yeast, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO, which is so common in the autoimmunity community), and much more.

My passion for nutrition and holistic living came after receiving a Hashimoto’s diagnosis in 2007. I was put on thyroid medication that didn’t help my symptoms or my lab values, so I began reading all I could about the disease. I happened upon information about the yeast connection to thyroid diseases and leaky gut syndrome and began changing my diet.

By 2009, I had put my Hashimoto’s into unmedicated remission with nutritional changes.

I also consider myself an Intuitive which means I feel called to help clients look beyond the surface to connect the dots between the mental, emotional, and spiritual circumstances in their lives and their physical health. I have both personally and professionally seen the impact that unaddressed or hidden stressors have on a person’s physical state.

Being a highly sensitive person myself, I most enjoy helping other empathic people access their personal power both physically and emotionally to stop the cycles that keep them stressed and sick. I’m so happy to be part of the Healthful Elements team!
