I had been keeping an eye on what Jill was up to for a while, knowing that I should take the leap and do her program. I finally did, and I wish I had done it years ago. All of the information I had gathered about thyroid health was just confusing me to no end, and I was getting very little guidance from my doctor. In years of trying to "fix" my thyroid, no one ever mentioned the thyroid/adrenal link or the possibility of Hashimoto's. That is, until Jill brought these to my attention. Jill has gathered a lot of incredible information in a tidy little "package" that's totally doable and very educational. I'm a vegetarian who eats seafood and dairy products, and wanted to evaluate my health and make sure I was getting enough protein. Although I was skeptical about what kind of difference the consultations could make (I considered myself a really healthy eater), working with Jill made a BIG difference in my energy level throughout the day. She gave me some totally new ideas that helped me experiment with my eating habits. Though not a vegetarian herself, she understood my motivation behind my food choices and was flexible rather than dogmatic in her suggestions. She shared a lot of resources as well - recipes, short readings, etc. I feel more informed about how to get enough protein as a vegetarian, and I have a couple more tools in my toolbox for maintaining high energy levels and generally good health. I definitely recommend Jill - she is extremely knowledgeable, and I really enjoyed working with her.

My eight sessions with Jill were extremely informative and definitely worth the cost. My biggest regret was not meeting Jill three years sooner. I believe I could have avoided thyroid medication altogether. I have gained knowledge about my body that my doctor never bothered to explain and I didn't think to ask - just took the prescription. When I first started working with Jill, I was pretty miserable, dealing with low energy, fatigue, mental fog, achy joints & muscles, excessive hot flashes, insomnia, an inability to lose weight, and a host of other symptoms. I’m perimenopausal and had already been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and borderline diabetes, but I wanted to attack the root causes, not cover them up with prescription pills. My doctor had already done some testing and told me my thyroid tests were fine. For example, I finally figured out that I am extremely gluten intolerant. I changed my diet and am no longer in pain. With Jill’s help, I found a functional medicine doctor who understood the thyroid, did some testing, and got officially diagnosed with Hashimoto’s. I stopped eating soy. Natural supplements are helping me sleep through the night, whereas I was resorting to sleeping pills before. My skin has gotten softer, my brain fog has lifted, I understand more about how all of these things hang together and – most important of all – I have hope again that I can get back to my old self. Jill has been tremendously helpful in getting me through this, feeding me with the right information so that I could ask the right questions. I am ever so grateful that I signed up for her program!

I first met Jill when I signed up to take an adult education class she was teaching entitled "Sugar Blues: Cracking the Code on Sugar Cravings." Initially, I contacted Jill to discuss sugar alternatives and my mysterious ongoing “malaise” that none of my doctors seemed to be able to diagnose. Until I spoke with Jill, I had never heard of adrenal fatigue. My symptoms, according to what we discussed, resembled a problem none of my doctors were treating. I had struggled for years with... just not feeling good. Even though I ate pretty well, I was fatigued, was gaining what seemed to be unwarranted weight, was sometimes achy, was getting really forgetful, and had lost half my hair. And my hormones were out of whack. I had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, of which a lot of these complaints are a symptom. I was taking thyroid drugs and not getting better. If anything, I was getting worse, which just made my doctor up my dosages.
